Overview:

Road closures have been implemented in Brantley, Wayne, and Glynn counties to support evacuation operations and ensure public safety. The closures include several roads in each county, as well as state highways. Residents are advised to avoid these areas to allow emergency personnel to operate safely and efficiently. Additional closures may be imposed if needed due to changing fire behavior.

To support evacuation operations and ensure public safety, road closures have been implemented across Brantley, Wayne, and Glynn counties.

Brantley County road closures under the current evacuation order include:

  • Browntown Road from the Wayne County line to Highway 82
  • Highway 32 from Post Road to Highway 301
  • Post Road from Highway 82 to Highway 32
  • Little Memorial Road from Highway 32 to the Wayne County line
  • Highway 110 West from Highway 82 to Highway 32
  • Crandal Road
  • Gallberry Road
  • Shady Oaks Circle at 259 (escorted access only for residents)
  • Hawthorne Road
  • Brushy Creek Road
  • Fendig Road
  • Mumford Road
  • Albert Gibson Road
  • Murphy Road
  • Boots Harrison Road
  • Bladen Road and Post Road

Wayne County has reported the following closures connected to the evacuation zone:

  • Manningtown Road and Ron Road
  • Post Road at Ten Mile Road to the Wayne–Brantley line
  • Wire Road to the Brantley line
  • Mount Pleasant Road at Browntown Road

Glynn County closures associated with the evacuation order include:

  • Old Post Road at Highways 82 and 32
  • Thalman Park Lane at Highway 32
  • Bladen Road at Highway 99

GDOT has confirmed the following state highway closures:

  • Highway 32 between Highway 301 and Highway 99
  • Highway 110 between Highway 32 and Highway 82

Residents are asked to avoid these areas to allow emergency personnel to operate safely and efficiently. Conditions may change as fire behavior shifts, and additional closures may be imposed if needed.
