<p>Incumbent Martin Turner&nbsp;has successfully defended his Camden County District 2 commission seat against challenger Clayton Ben Goff. </p>

<p>The contentious battle for the seat culminated in a 245-vote margin, with Turner ultimately capturing 59.81% of the vote. Goff, who was active in the fight against a proposed Camden County spaceport by refendum, challenged the commission vice chair this year. </p>
<p>Turner is a graduate of Lee University with a Bachelor of Science and Grand Canyon University with a Master of Science degree in Business Leadership. He moved to Camden County in 1961 when his father was offered a job to manage the local propane gas company. </p>
