Jabari Gibbs, from Atlanta, Georgia, is The Current's full-time accountability reporter based in Glynn County. His work in Glynn County is a 2026 winner of the Society of Professional Journalists Green Eyeshade Award for government reporting. He is a Report For America corps member and a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a degree in communications. While at Georgia Southern, he was the Editor-in-Chief for The George-Anne Inkwell.
