Robert Jacobs is a professor at the University of Rochester (UR) with faculty appointments in the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences and the Department of Computer Science. I joined the UR faculty in 1992.
He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1990, then served as a postdoc in the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1990-1991, and served as a postdoc in the Department of Psychology at Harvard University in 1991-1992.
