A special opportunity

On Constitution Day, The Current GA and Keep Our Republic’s Article III Coalition invite you to a public town hall in Savannah. Together, we’ll explore the principle of separation of powers and the balance between the branches of government that ensures our freedoms.

6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17

Ships of the Sea Museum, Scarbrough Garden

Our panel features three distinguished former federal judges who bring decades of perspective from the bench:

  • Judge Beverly Martin (Ret.), formerly of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit
  • Judge Vanessa Gilmore (Ret.), formerly of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Texas
  • Judge Ursula Ungaro (Ret.), formerly of the U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida

The discussion will take place in a moderated question-and-answer format, with opportunities for queries from the audience.

This event is part of The Current GA’s fifth-anniversary series, highlighting the value of independent, nonpartisan journalism in Coastal Georgia.
