Welcome aboard! This is a list of public meetings and agendas to help you follow the work of officials you’ve elected.

Cost of a judicial system

The cost of a county’s judicial system comes from the millions of dollars that county commissions budget every year.  Every year, folks come calling for money.

In Glynn County, part-time magistrate judges have come calling for higher pay than $18,000 a year, writes The Current’s Jabari Gibbs.  After exchanging letters and blame with its circuit DA Keith Higgins, Glynn has also just approved spending $70,000 for a private attorney to act as a part-time juvenile court prosecutor after Higgins said his own budget was too short.

Some publish calendars in more than one place with different information.  Some rely on Facebook posts which may require a login to read and cannot be collected automatically.
