Find your public meetings, agendas
May 26, 2025
Welcome aboard! This is a list of public meetings and agendas to help you follow the work of officials you’ve elected.

Some counties and larger cities offer agendas via email, if you know where to look.
On McIntosh County’s agenda page, there’s a little envelope icon ✉️ reading “Notify Me.” Click there, add your email address and the county sends agendas when a new one is posted. Tybee Island offers the same thing, follow the link on its agenda page that says “Click here to subscribe to email notifications.”
Those services depend on a local government’s choice of publishing software and whether the government turns on any email feature.
If you can’t find a subscription feature on your local government’s website, call or email the board or council clerk to ask what’s available. They may maintain an email list you can join.
The Current subscribes to the boards that do offer email notifications and uses computers and humans to collect meeting notices and documents for those that don’t offer subscriptions. This list covers the public meetings we’ve found for the next two weeks. Let us know how we’re doing or how you use this list at staff@thecurrent.org

This list starts with an automated collection that does not involve AI. It is checked and edited by a human. But agencies may announce new meetings, change meeting times or cancel them, sometimes without any online notice. Some publish calendars in more than one place with different information. Some rely on Facebook posts which may require a login to read and cannot be collected automatically.
You may want to call ahead and verify the meeting time and place, especially for smaller agencies.
