The Current GA is proud to support TEDxSavannah 2026, this year’s daylong program of talks and performances built around the theme “Shaping the Future.” The event will take place Friday, May 15, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Fine Arts Auditorium on Georgia Southern University’s Armstrong Campus in Savannah.

TEDxSavannah brings together local and regional speakers, performers, and community voices for a program designed to explore timely ideas and encourage thoughtful discussion. This year’s event will feature 14 speakers addressing topics ranging from artificial intelligence to leadership, along with live music and poetry performances.

“We’re glad to lend our support to local events that create space for thoughtful conversation and bring different perspectives into the community,” said Margaret Coker, editor in chief and co-founder of The Current. “Our mission is to help people better understand what’s happening here in Coastal Georgia, and TEDxSavannah reflects that same interest in ideas, dialogue, and community.”

In addition to the speaker sessions, attendees will enjoy lunch, snacks, and opportunities to connect with speakers during a meet-and-greet.

Tickets are available in several categories, including general admission, VIP, and discounted options for educators, students, nonprofit staff, first responders, and active-duty military. Group discounts are also available.
