Find your public meetings, agendas
July 21, 2025
Welcome aboard! This is a list of public meetings and agendas to help you follow the work of officials you’ve elected.
One topic for 45 minutes
When a community issue needs more public discussion than a typical zoning request, liquor license or other routine business, elected officials can call a public work session.
St. Marys, in Camden County, has two such discussions Monday: one on its parks and recreation authority followed by an hour’s hearing on “blight.”
A typical work session might include a presentation of the issue by county or city staff, and plain discussion in public by elected officials. The elected officials might ask staff more questions and ask for more research. There won’t be binding votes. These are public meetings and you can go, too.
But before you scroll down to the list of meetings for the next two weeks, we want to hear from you:
FROM THE CURRENT

We need your thoughts …
It’s time to have a discussion about our newsletters. We want to know what’s working and what you expect from our 5 missives each week. Here’s a 2-minute survey that will help us make these notes more useful for you. Please be honest and send us your thoughts. If the survey doesn’t let you tell us what you want to say, send me a note at susan.catron@thecurrentga.org. I’m always happy to hear from you.

This list starts with an automated collection that does not involve AI. The list is checked and edited by a human. But agencies may announce new meetings, change meeting times or cancel them, sometimes without any online notice. Some publish calendars in more than one place with different information. Some rely on Facebook posts which may require a login to read and cannot be collected automatically.
You may want to call ahead and verify the meeting time and place, especially for smaller agencies.
