Find your public meetings, agendas
November 17, 2025
Welcome aboard! This is a list of public meetings and agendas to help you follow the work of officials you’ve elected.
Savannah budget hearings start
Savannah will spend about $311 million dollars next year, and about 43 cents of each of those taxpayer dollars will fund police, fire and other public safety services, according to the 2026 draft budget released by the city.
The city ran a survey asking the public for input on its spending plans and is still inviting residents to register for future budget events.
At a budget retreat Monday, Council members will discuss the spending plan. The meeting will be streamed on Facebook, YouTube and Savannah Government Television, according to an email the city sent to media Sunday afternoon.
The public is invited too, though it might be hard for them to know. A day before the meeting, there was no mention of it on Savannah’s home page, City Council’s website, its agenda page or the clerk’s public notices page.
The meeting is Monday, November 17 at the Savannah Civic Center Ballroom from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Our calendar covers meetings over the next two weeks that are open to the public and that we could find on the internet. Let us know how we’re doing and how you use this list at staff@thecurrentga.org.

This list starts with an automated collection that does not involve AI. It is checked and edited by a human. But agencies may announce new meetings, change meeting times or cancel them, sometimes without any online notice. Some publish calendars in more than one place with different information. Some rely on Facebook posts which may require a login to read and cannot be collected automatically.
You may want to call ahead and verify the meeting time and place, especially for smaller agencies.
