🍺 Have your lederhosen ready because it’s time to celebrate the start of Oktoberfest. Head over from noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 19 to Service Brewing, 574 Indian St, Savannah, for German-style beers, brats by local restaurant Strangebird, limited edition souvenir beer steins from Germany and more.
🇻🇪 🇨🇴 Join Caramba Cocktails for a night of art, music, arepas and community from 7:30-10:30 p.m. at Sentient Bean on Sunday, Sept. 20 to help raise funds for recent earthquakes in Venezuela and Colombia. There will be live collaborative art by Caracas-born artist Lorien Gascon, live music, traditional N/A beverages and Venezuelan and Colombia arepas, along with local artists and vendors. 100% of proceeds will benefit Global Empowerment Mission.
🌍 Kwanzaa365 Connection is hosting their 3rd annual Afro-Wellness Experience from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday Sept. 19 at Georgia Southern University, 11935 Abercorn Street, Savannah. Attendees can engage in wellness workshops with local and guest artists, shop artisanal goods at the vendor market and then enjoy a cultural arts showcase at Savannah State University, 3219 College St., Savannah, in the evening from 6-8 p.m. Full event details and registration on Eventbrite.

🩺 Healthy Coastal Neighborhoods is hosting a community meeting about the new Superfund Center at Howard Coffin Park on Sept. 30 at 6:30 p.m. Researchers from Emory, UGA, Georgia Tech, Morehouse School of Medicine, and Texas Tech will share updates on the center’s research. The meeting will offer an opportunity to exchange ideas, share experiences and concerns, ask questions, help shape future research, and express interest in participating in the upcoming health study.
⚕️ Amerigroup Georgia, a leading Medicaid health plan provider in the state, is hosting a statewide community support initiative this September to provide families with free essential items, health education, and other resources. It will host a Savannah Ice Cream Social on Friday, Sept. 18, 2026, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. at the Pat A Cake Learning Center, 4 West 54th St..
🌭🎵 The Southeast Blues & BBQ Festival, presented by a Better Community and hosted by Women United International, will be held this Saturday, Sept. 19, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the St. Marys Waterfront Park. The event will feature a lineup of artists throughout the day, along with BBQ and treats from local vendors and food trucks.
