Find your public meetings, agendas
November 3, 2025
Welcome aboard! This is a list of public meetings and agendas to help you follow the work of officials you’ve elected.
County election boards to certify election results
All 159 Georgia counties have an election board that will hold a public meeting by Nov. 10 to certify their count of votes in the Nov. 4 special election.
The board’s vote signifies that their staff have counted the ballots for each candidate. Recounts can still happen, but the administrative step of certification comes first.
Right-wing election deniers have made it onto a few county election boards and sought to throw doubt on the process by refusing to certify their local counts. Judges have ruled against election board members trying to seize this power in a key 2024 Fulton County case.
Even so, public election boards are one of the safeguards against election fraud. Board members watch the process — and each other. They and anybody else can make claims of voter fraud to law enforcement. Voter fraud is a crime.
To see what business is going on in the sunshine of public scrutiny in your community, check our list of public meetings over the next two weeks. We’re covering about 50 agencies including election boards. Let us know how we’re doing and how you use this list at staff@thecurrentga.org.

This list starts with an automated collection that does not involve AI. It is checked and edited by a human. But agencies may announce new meetings, change meeting times or cancel them, sometimes without any online notice. Some publish calendars in more than one place with different information. Some rely on Facebook posts which may require a login to read and cannot be collected automatically.
You may want to call ahead and verify the meeting time and place, especially for smaller agencies.
